Job Role: Display Stand Assembler
Pay Rate: £11.50 - £12.50 per hour depending on experience + overtime
Location: Leicestershire
Shift: 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Type: Full-time, permanent
The Company:
- A Forward-thinking, expanding Graphics and Branding consultancy specialising in the Retail industry, are looking for a Display Stand Assembler to support their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work amongst a team of assembly operatives
- Assist with general Quality Control checks.
- Assembly and packing of retail display stands and retail fixtures/furniture.
- Delivery/collection of goods if the dedicated delivery driver is unavailable, collecting and delivering locally and on rare occasions- nationally.
Candidate Requirements:
- Competent in assembly and packing of retail display items, working from specific instructions.
- Part assembling and quality checking components during the assembly phase.
- Use of appropriate packaging materials to suit protection for the goods.
- Use of light hand/air powered / power tools.
- Use correct manual handling techniques, including use of forklift truck (training provided as required.)
- Accurately record / check condition of fixtures to a brief and making reports for team leader.
- Carry out routine maintenance checks of warehouse equipment, including cleaning duties, disposal of unrequired displays - under instructions from Line Manager.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
- Be fluent in English.
