Location: Watford.
Office & Site based role.
Salary: Up to £65K.
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, you will need to be driven, organised and an excellent communicator.
This will be an office-based position working from our office based in Watford.
We can consider candidates from all backgrounds with varying experience as full training and support will be provided.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Preparing and overseeing project budget/cost plans - ensure Gross Profit target is achieved across all projects.
- Establishing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and the wider team
- Attending client meetings, providing feedback on project throughout.
- Review quotations and ensuring they are cost effective and competitive whilst liaising with the estimating team.
- Creating scopes to help with sub-contractor requirements.
- Pricing and agreement of non-standard rates
- Invoice processing
To be successful as a Quantity Surveyor you will need:
- Experience in a similar role
- An interest in the Retrofit industry
- Good IT skills and competent in the use of MS Excel and Word
- Understanding of construction contracts
- Good oral and written communication skills
