THE SQL DEVELOPER ROLE:
- You will develop SQL Server solutions that efficiently process, aggregate, and reconcile large datasets into optimized outputs. This role involves continuous improvement, maintenance, and housekeeping of databases and existing solutions.
- You will develop business solutions using T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Agent, and build and maintain entertainment promotion outputs. Collaboration with team members on multi-developer projects is essential, as is conducting quality assurance to ensure code accuracy and performance. Additionally, you will suggest and implement improvements to streamline existing processes and ensure all solutions adhere to departmental standards.
SQL DEVELOPER - ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Extensive experience in commercial database development, especially with SQL 2012 or newer.
- Expertise in T-SQL, including query design, optimization, and understanding of SQL Internals.
- Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Agent.
- Capability to simplify complex requirements into clear solutions.
- Highly methodical with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, reactive environment.
- Knowledge of SQL Server performance monitoring and query tuning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
