Part Time HR Administrator

Our client is an established and expanding organisation looking for a HR Administrator to join their busy team.

The role can offer part-time hours, which can be flexible to suit applicants, as well as hybrid working.

Applicants must have a driving licence and access to their own car due to the location of the office. This role does also involve some travel to other locations in Halifax and Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to become an integral member of the team.

Duties will be varied but will include:

  • Support a busy HR team by taking responsibility for HR administration.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety information, recording and acknowledging any health & safety queries or concerns, tracking and monitoring progress against actions.
  • Managing recruitment processing, including writing and posting job adverts, coordinating communication with candidates and scheduling interview.
  • Acting as a point of contact and liaising between the HR team and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
  • Assisting with the creation of policies, processes and documents.
  • Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Processing documentation and preparing reports.
  • Coordinating HR projects and booking meetings, training, surveys etc.
  • Minute taking.
  • Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves etc)
  • Handling complaints and grievance procedures.
  • Conduct inductions with newly hired employees.
  • Support training and development programs.
  • Manage and update all training records.
  • General administration support.

About you:

  • Experience within a similar HR admin role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Detail orientated with strong analytical skills.
