Basic salary: £12.50 per hour + Commission (OTE £55k per annum) + Bens

Full or Part Time - Immediate Start

We are looking for experienced dynamic and driven individuals to join our fast-paced Booking Team here at one of the UK's leading Solar PV Installers.

This is a new position which has a potential to become permanent.

Full time 9-5 or 10-6, or If you want to work part-time weekday evenings 4pm-8pm and 9:45am-2:15pm on Saturdays then this would be great for you.

The Role....

You must have a proven track history in sales, desktop and telephone. You will be provided both warm bites and cold data. Trained on solar design software, and you will be responsible for tracing down solar deals that are either worked by desktop or when required allocated to a field sales rep.

You will form part of the Booking Team that play a crucial role in driving sales and growth for the company, and along the way earn a salary and commission well above the standard local rates.

This position involves proactively reaching out to potential customers, building and maintaining relationships for later follow ups. You must have a strict moral compass, be considerate and professional at all times. There will be no allowance for work absence, irregular attendance or inconsistent lacklustre performance.

What you will be doing?

  • Responsible for calling potential customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining high quality of booked appointments.
  • Ensuring all details for bookings are confirmed correctly and customer queries are answered effectively so the booking can proceed.
  • Accurate input of bookings data into scheduling calendar.
  • Proactively reaching out to potential customers to answer queries and maximise sales bookings.
  • Working to agreed KPI's and targets.

To succeed in this role you will:

  • Experience of working within a busy, and fast paced office or sales background.
  • Works effectively under pressure - maintaining exceptional levels of attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Able to work well within a small team and takes a flexible and collaborative approach to tasks.
  • An excellent communicator, internally and externally at all levels.
  • Well organised and capable of managing your time and prioritising a busy workload.
  • Able to work within tight guidelines and conform to SLA's.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (inc. SharePoint, Outlook, Word and Excel). Experience of packages such as Trello, Todoist, Zendesk would be advantageous.
