Sports Lecturer

We are seeking a dedicated Sports Lecturer to join our educational team in Bromley. This role is perfect for a professional with a robust background in sports education, particularly in teaching Levels 1, 2, and 3 on both BTEC and NCFE Sport courses. The ideal candidate will possess excellent anatomy and physiology knowledge and strong IT literacy.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions across Levels 1, 2, and 3 for BTEC and NCFE Sport courses.
- Develop and update course materials and curriculum to ensure compliance with the latest educational standards and industry trends.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through practical assessments, coursework, and examinations.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their educational and career goals.
- Utilize IT resources effectively to enhance teaching methods and student learning experiences.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the sports education programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching BTEC and NCFE Sport courses at various levels.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- High level of IT literacy, comfortable using educational technology and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
