The team:

This team has been growing significantly over the past few years and they are looking for collaborative engineers to join them. They have a philosophy of innovation, listening and learning. People with a passion for new technology do well in this role as there will be plenty of complex challenges to get stuck into, and this team are always trying to find ways to make everyone's lives easier and automate manual tasks.

The Role:

  • Drive operational stability by monitoring and maintaining network devices
  • Provide remote support when needed for diagnosing and resolving faults
  • Visit customer sites when needed
  • Take a lead in customer meetings alongside Accounts Managers or Team Leaders
  • Deliver a positive customer experience through good communication
  • Work both independently and collaboratively
  • Regularly review and update customer support documentation
  • Improve customer infrastructure and update processes
  • Process creation for other team members to work from
  • Assist your colleagues by sharing your knowledge to effectively resolve technical issues, and take part in training for your professional development

About You

You should have very strong experience as a Network Engineer and be able to troubleshoot complex issues. You should also possess strong communication skills to collaborate with your colleagues as well as communicate efficiently with 3rd parties.

You should also have the following technical experience:

  • CCNA or CCNP qualification
  • Strong experience in network engineering, particularly with Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki products
  • Oversee complex networks in a multi-vendor environment
  • Have an understanding of network protocols such as QoS, HSRP, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, etc.
  • Working with firewall configuration/management, network security practices and VPNs
  • Confidence with your documentation abilities
