Are you an Account Handler with a good background and experience within commercial insurance and interested in a new position?

If so, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a reputable corporate insurance brokerage in Tameside.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with one of the Directors, handling their portfolio of accounts, and dealing with a diverse range of clients and premium levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing exceptional client support.
  • Work closely with one of the Directors to ensure seamless management of their accounts.
  • Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and underwriters.
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of commercial insurance products.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with industry regulations.
  • Negotiate terms with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a commercial broking environment, with a strong understanding of the insurance market.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
  • Cert CII qualification is desirable but not essential.
