This is a brand new role to the organisation and requires a highly skilled, hands on and visionary Enterprise Architect who can take a holistic view of the current architecture.
The successful Enterprise Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture across the organisation, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies. They will play a crucial role in designing and implementing IT solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and support our long-term objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals.
- Define and document enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guidelines.
- Assess the current IT landscape and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with senior management, business stakeholders, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into architectural solutions
- Communicate architectural plans and strategies to stakeholders at all levels
- Lead the design and implementation of IT solutions, ensuring they meet architectural standards and address business requirements
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the enterprise architecture
- Establish and enforce architectural governance processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Monitor the performance of IT systems and solutions, identifying areas for improvement.
- Optimise IT across all areas including the Data Architecture for scalability and efficiency
We are keen to speak with individuals who possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, with a strong track record of successful project delivery
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
- Proficiency in architectural modelling tools and methodologies
- Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software development practices and Data and how EA can shift that data
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
