Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fettling Operative for our client based in the Medway Towns area. This is a full-time position for the successful candidate.
Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Friday 7:30am - 13:30pm
Job Duties Include:
- Band saw operation
- Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant Technique card and Works Instruction.
- Manual Handling
- Moving boxes of castings around the factory
Health and Safety
- Correct use of PPE at all times
- Knowledge of chemicals used as stipulated in the departments COSHH assessment and Material Safety Data Sheets
Clear understanding and awareness of the relevant Risk Assessments
