Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000

The role of the Quantity Surveyor - Groundwork & Reinforcements will involve:
- Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range groundworks, reinforcement and civil engineering, temporary works, and formwork projects
- Managing subcontractors; send out enquiries, collate prices, tender comparing, order placement
- Cost management for project/section of works
- Value/change management for scope of works
- Evaluating and managing project risks and opportunities
- Assist in the preparation and issue of subcontract documentation, enquiries and negotiations
- Financial reporting
- Identification, preparation and negotiation of claims
- Submission of applications
- Project sizes can vary from £500,000 to £5,000,000
The ideal applicant will be Quantity Surveyor - Groundwork & Reinforcements with:
- Must have 5 + years Quantity Surveying experience dealing with groundworks, reinforcement and civil engineering, temporary works, and formwork etc
- Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent
- Subcontractor experience
- Full UK driving license
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ambitious with a desire to succeed and grow with the company
- Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
