?? About the Role:

As the Complaints and Policy Compliance Officer, you will be part of a small team that reviews, investigates, and responds to complaints, Elected Member and MP enquiries, Freedom of Information requests, and Subject Access Requests. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the complaints framework, providing advice on compliance, supporting complaint investigations, and ensuring high-quality responses are delivered in a timely manner. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, elected members, and external agencies.

?? Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinating and quality checking responses to complaints, FOIs, and SARs to ensure a high-quality service
Gathering information from services to provide factual and concise responses to complex complaints
Staying up to date with relevant legislation and procedures related to Information Governance, FOIs, and SARs
Working closely with the Housing Services team to advise on Information Management best practises
Collecting and analysing data to monitor performance and inform service improvements
