Office Manager

Our client, a forward-thinking and people-focused organisation, is seeking a dedicated Office Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, office-based role with working hours from 9-5:30.

As the Office Manager, you will be client facing, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the office. You will provide a welcoming experience for client visitors and support staff by maintaining a professional and organised environment. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, from office maintenance to coordinating events and managing relationships with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional office environment
  • Order office supplies and equipment, collaborating with IT support
  • Create and update processes and procedures
  • Manage Google reviews, Trustpilot, and other review sites
  • Liaise with the external marketing company and provide support where appropriate
  • Lead new employee onboarding during their first weeks
  • Coordinate office events and meetings
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the office
  • Greet visitors and clients professionally and courteously
  • Direct enquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Handle front desk telephone calls and emails efficiently

Essential Competence and Training:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Friendly and professional demeanour
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
  • Experience in managing relationships with suppliers
  • Proactive and problem-solving oriented
