Reed Accountancy is excited to announce an opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join our client based in Coventry. This pivotal role involves reporting directly to the Office Manager and thriving in a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will bring valuable experience from a legal practice setting and possess a thorough understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR). We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing financial transactions with precision and integrity.
Main Duties
- Bank reconciliations
- Daily banking.
- Processing client bills
- Completing inter-company account transfers
- Processing client and office transactions
- Petty Cash control and reconciliation
- Completing month end routines and producing month end reports to P/L- TB
- Processing CHAP/BACS & inter-account transfers via online banking
- Purchase Ledger posting and control
- Completing archive/matter close routines
- Data entry and filing
The role of LEGAL CASHIER is office-based Monday to Friday in return you can enjoy a competitive salary, generous annual leave of 31 days including bank holidays, on-site parking and pension.
