Responsibilities:
- Producing year end accounts on Xero Tax and Xero Workpapers for limited companies
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Processing purchases/sales/bank reconciliations
- Processing monthly payrolls on Xero
- Problem solving and checking work from a junior member of staff
- Ad Hoc book-keeping work
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Key skills Required
- Ability to work to deadlines
- 2 years plus experience as a bookkeeper
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software ideally Xero and Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
