**Job Overview:

We are seeking adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to join our network of schools in Oxfordshire. This role is ideal for passionate educators who enjoy the variety and flexibility of teaching across different age groups and subjects. As a Supply Teacher, you will provide cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of education for students and maintaining a positive learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Management:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the regular teacher.

  • Maintain a well-ordered classroom environment conducive to learning.

  • Manage student behavior in line with school policies and procedures.

  • Teaching and Learning:

  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different student groups.

  • Engage students in learning activities and encourage their participation.

  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their work and progress.

  • Curriculum Delivery:

  • Familiarize yourself with the curriculum and the subject matter to be covered.

  • Utilize available resources to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

  • Ensure that learning objectives are met and that students are prepared for upcoming assessments.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Liaise with school staff to gather relevant information about students and lesson plans.

  • Report any issues, concerns, or student progress to the relevant school staff.

  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.

  • Professional Conduct:

  • Adhere to all school policies, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.

  • Maintain professionalism at all times, ensuring punctuality and preparedness for each assignment.

  • Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of different schools and classrooms.

**Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching in a UK classroom environment.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments and student needs.

**Desirable:

  • Experience in teaching multiple subjects and age groups.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with schools in Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas.
