People Solutions are looking for a Buying Administrator for our client based in Birmingham.

Day to Day Duties

  • Buying Team support Provide support to the procurement team on a daily basis
  • Build and manage internal and external customer relationships in support of the department
  • Raise purchase orders as directed by the buyers when required
  • Review of forecasted purchase plans with nominated suppliers
  • Manage purchase order acknowledgement and confirmation process
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the business for all materials purchasing
  • Produce and review supplier purchase order status reports

Essential Skills

  • Strong administrative and planning skills working within a busy team
  • The ability to be flexible and evolve with the ever-changing nature of the industry

Desirable Experience

  • Procurement/supply change experience
  • Experience working in a similar role, particularly the Aerospace industry
  • Metals knowledge/experience

Training

Training in company policy and procedure will be provided to successful candidates.
