Robertson Bell is thrilled to partner with a leading organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for producing management accounts and forecasts for several departments across a varied portfolio, collaborating with department heads and key stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and guidance. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a range of income streams, partnerships, and regional initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and forecasts for several complex departments, supporting financial planning across six directorates.
- Collaborate with department heads to support budget and forecast preparation, understanding key variances and financial movements.
- Provide analysis and insights on non-standard income sources, including international partnerships and regional relationships.
- Drive automation initiatives in financial reporting and processes related to these income streams.
- Build strong relationships with department heads, acting as a financial business partner to provide guidance and support.
- Oversee the work of an Assistant Accountant, reviewing month-end tasks and supporting their professional development.

The Ideal Candidate will:
- Be a part-qualified or newly qualified Accountant.
- Have strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Sum-Ifs, and PivotTables.
- Be detail-oriented with a confident ability to make sound financial judgments, particularly around staff accruals, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
- Possess experience in producing management accounts in any sector.
- Demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills, with a proactive approach to understanding and supporting the financial needs of department heads.
