An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our training and consultancy team as an Autistic Learning Advisor!

Reporting to the External Learning and Consultancy Lead, this is a key role that will support in the delivery of our external learning and consultancy partnerships, providing knowledge, insight, and advice from the perspective of lived experience.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- To work with the External Learning and Consultancy Lead to deliver our suite of autism and related learning to a wide range of external partners both in person and online.
- Working in collaboration with our Researcher in Residence and our internal Practice Development Team, you will ensure our External Learning Team are kept informed of any key updates in research and that our learning content reflects the very latest thinking.
- To challenge ableism towards autistic and neurodivergent people.
- Ability to translate contemporary autism thinking into easily understandable learning within the training room.
- A strong understanding of the different support needs autistic people may have, particularly within an education and workplace setting.
- To proactively bring issues that impact autistic people to the attention of the External Learning and Consultancy Lead and suggest solutions in the context of our external learning and consultancy strategy.
