English Teacher

Horizon Teachers are working with a SEMH school in North London who are seeking an experienced English Teacher. You will be responsible for teaching English to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed English Teacher to contribute to students English Language and Literature skills

This is a long-term position to start in as soon as possible but the school is willing to wait until January for the right Teacher. It's important that you have experience in an SEN/SEMH or PRU settings as you will be working with vulnerable students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English, ideally at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for developing students' creative abilities
  • A background of teaching in an SEND setting (APR,PRU)
