Logistics Coordinator - Permanent (Manchester area)
Adept Resourcing are currently on the look out for an ambitious logistics coordinator to join a rapidly growing business based in the Manchester area.
This role is responsible for reporting back to the logistics supervisor and requires candidates to have strong experience within a similar role.
The role and responsibilities:
- Supply customers with relevant documentation according to despatch date.
- Responsible for arranging uplift from supply chain and coordinating the import entry.
- Arranging transport to export customers ensuring customer deliveries are on time.
- Filing of all documentation when required.
- Advising customers of shipping details.
- Liaising with freight forwarders to arrange shipping in a timely manner and to achieve cost effective shipments.
- Liaise with other departments when needed.

- Understanding of both import and export entries/ T1 forms and their importance.
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of export procedures and required documentation including all methods of shipment.
This is a permanent job opportunity direct through the company following a successful interview stage. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-16:30pm and Friday 8am-15:30pm. The salary for this role is £25,000-£29,000 depending on experience.
