A new opportunity for an experienced payroll assistant is available with an established charity in Worthing. This is a temporary role working in the Worthing office 35 hours per week with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.
As a Payroll Assistant you will:
- Work in a customer facing payroll position dealing with client queries via email and over the phone
- Be responsible for the day to day running of the Payroll and Banking Administration Service
- Provide clients with expert knowledge in relation to tax queries
- Oversee the day to day running of the Banking Service including making payments, opening and closing accounts, liaising with the bank and update procedures
- Create monthly/quarterly reports using excel
- Produce bi-annual newsletters
The hours for this role are Monday-Friday working 35 hours per week and the hourly rate is £13.46 per hour.
