?We are currently partnering with a housing association with multiple offices nationwide, who are recruiting for a Housing Management Solicitor to join their growing team on an initial four month locumbasis.
This is a full time, fully remote position, offering an hourly rate of £40-£45/hour via an umbrella company (with scope to negotiate), with the role due to interview and start ASAP.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Acting as part of the Housing Management and Property Litigation team of qualified lawyers
- Providing expertise in the following areas: ASB, possession cases, debt recovery and breaches of tenancy
- Advising on First Tier Tribunal cases, trespass/Right of Way/breach of Easement claims and landlord/leaseholder breach of contract/lease terms
- Supporting and advising regional Lawyers so that they can better prepare and draft their own pleadings
Experience required:
- Experience working in social housing or a local authority
- Two years+ PQE
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Disrepair
- ASB
- Possession claims
- Debt recovery
- Breaches of tenancy
Working hours :
- 35 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
