We have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to work for our global pharmaceutical client based in Milton Keynes. The role is a full-time temporary contract initially for 12 months offering an hourly rate of £12.21 - £18.50 per hour depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday pro rata and other benefits. The successful candidate will be required to work onsite Monday - Friday during normal office hours (37.5 hours per week).
IPT1 (Integrated Production Team) is responsible for the production of bacterial vaccines. This position is responsible for the effective coordination and planning of various activities critical to maintaining safe, compliant and on-time operations within our production teams. The incumbent will report to the IPT Lead and will be the conduit between support functions and the production teams to manage requests for the time and capacity of our people, plant and equipment.
Role Functions:
The primary activities include but are not limited to:
- MEDS document administrator: to coordinate the timely update and approval of standard operating procedures.
- MEDS document controller- to print and issue controlled documents
- To liaise with the Learning & Development team to plan instructor-led training for the production teams.
- Review open purchase order requests and liaise with owner to ensure timely closure or update.
- Raise ad-hoc purchase requisitions for the IPT as needed.
- Other administrative support to production management as required.
- Other facilities management as required
- Input into projects and improvement initiatives as required.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Effective communicator; able to communicate clearly across multiple disciplines (verbally and in written form).
- Highly organized and able to prioritise
- High level of Microsoft Office proficiency
- Able to problem solve and adapt approach to reach the desired outcome.
- Experience of working in a GMP environment
- GCSE in Maths and English
