We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join a leading restaurant in Belfast. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry and excels in providing exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, maintain our high food quality standards, and lead a dedicated team to ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain food quality standards.
- Address and resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently, upholding our commitment to 5-star customer service.
- Manage inventory and ensure all supplies are adequately stocked.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
- Record all financial transactions, ensuring that cash registers are balanced and income and expenses are accurately documented.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar Assistant Manager role within the hospitality sector.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays in line with restaurant service hours.
