Job Description:
Sirona Medical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locum Adult Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social worker looking to make a significant impact on the lives of adults in need while enjoying the flexibility of locum work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide support and intervention to adults facing various challenges, including mental health issues, physical disabilities, and safeguarding concerns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
- Advocate for clients' rights and empower them to achieve their personal goals.
- Participate in case reviews and ensure continuous evaluation of care plans.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in adult social work, preferably in a locum or temporary role.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Excellent assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
