THE BUSINESS:

Our client is a UK leader in solar-powered and off-grid energy solutions. They design, build, and install solar street lighting, solar-only tower lights, and hybrid power systems that replace diesel generators on construction sites, infrastructure projects, and events. Their award-winning technology helps businesses cut emissions, reduce costs, and meet sustainability goals—without compromising on performance.

THE SALES AND MARKEING EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:

This key role supports the generation of new business leads and qualifying new leads as they come in off the back of marketing activity. The candidate will becoming an expert in their technology using sales skills, product knowledge and excellent communication skills.

This role predominantly sits in a well-established marketing team, covering the bridge between marketing and sales. You'll understand the latest marketing campaigns, help to promote these to audiences and identify leads out of those campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and qualify potential customers
  • Generate new leads through calling, marketing, existing customer base and networking and nurture them
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to handover qualified leads
  • Maintain awareness of current advertising and marketing campaigns, new launches and promotions
  • Provide clear and accurate briefing notes for the sales team when handing over leads

SKILLS

  • Lead generation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to nurture leads and develop relationships
  • Ability to perform against KPI's
  • Commercial acumen - ability to think strategically and contribute ideas relating to marketing, sales and lead generation
  • Strong skills in numeracy using a PC for communication, planning, forecasting and presenting
  • CRM experience is desirable
