IFA Administrator

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a client service or similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in wealth management
  • Strong understanding of financial products and wealth management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Role:

Due to growth and as part of their ongoing strategy, our client requires an IFA Administrator, to support Paraplanner and Advisers. The role is office based however, has an element of flexibility with working hours and is located on the outskirts of Newcastle, with excellent links to public transport and with parking nearby.

The role would suit an individual with administration experience gained in an IFA/Wealth related environment, with an understanding of financial products including pensions, investments and protection. The ability to process new and existing business is essential.

Responsibilities will include:

  • First point of contact for clients
  • Scheduling client meetings
  • Liaise with colleagues regarding required tasks for client accounts and portfolios
  • Identify and address potential issues or discrepancies in client accounts promptly
  • Assist in the client onboarding process by collecting necessary documentation and information
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Work closely with the compliance team to verify client documentation and resolve any issues
  • Educate clients on available services, products and processes
  • Provide guidance on account management, transactions and reporting tools
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to client accounts
