This is a full time and permanent position for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic business. We would strongly prefer someone with mortgage, protection, or estate agency experience so they have a grasp of the industry and confidence with customers. If you have been a broker previously but don't want to advise anymore, or if you have been a mortgage administrator/case progressor then we would love to hear from you!
A confident, but friendly, telephone manner is essential as you will be the first point of contact for new enquiries. You'll be working closely with our mortgage brokers and introducers to support the client through their journey from day one through to completion.
The role will require a high standard of customer service along with being organised and proactive in ensuring you and the team make every client feel like our only client. It is also important that you are organised and confident updating a database with accurate information as well as e-mailing clients in a professional manner. The role would involve completing fact finds with the client, so an inquisitive, trustworthy, and confident personality will be required.
The role will be based in our Milton Keynes office working 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch, alongside both mortgage & protection brokers and our support team.
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to potential customers from warm leads
- Introduce and promote our products or services to potential customers
- Provide information about product features, pricing, and benefits
- Answer customer questions and address concerns
- Update customer records in our database and stay in contact between initial enquiry until mortgage application
- Collaborate with the mortgage adviser team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during all interactions
Skills:
- Mortgage industry experience is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication, with a good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong telephone communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
