A dynamic, modern Estate Agency is seeking a focused and experienced Property Manager to join their recently refurbished office based in Edgware.
The Property Manager Role
As a Property Manager, you will be a key member of our friendly property management team, specializing in both residential and commercial services.
This role is perfect for a personable and professional individual looking to join a flexible and supportive team renowned for its excellent company culture. Our team of 28 dynamic members, ranging from various experience levels, is known for delivering high-quality work and maintaining long-standing employee relationships.
Whilst this is a self employed role, it is not zero hours and would suit someone looking for stable, long term work in a full time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain AST (Assured Shorthold Tenancy) agreements.
- Oversee a portfolio of approximately 120 properties.
- Collect fees, client and contractor payments, and rent.
- Arrange and book property maintenance.
- Conduct quarterly property inspections.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs.
- Manage disputes and returns.
- Maintain Health and Safety certifications.
- Perform administrative duties, including references, invoices, and tenancy agreements.
- Report to the Senior Property Manager and collaborate with the property team.
The Property Manager
- Experience working at a high-street Estate Agency.
- 3+ years of Property Management experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of S21 and S8 procedures (Tenancy evictions and notice).
- Familiarity with Alto Software (desirable, not essential).
- Must have a driving license and vehicle.
In Return?
- £25,000 - £30,000
- Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM
- Self-employed pay structure (to be discussed at interview)
