Job description:

International Tax Manager

Based - St Albans, Hertforshire (with hybrid working)

Salary + car allowance + bonus + private medical insurance

We have a brand new role to join our Finance team based in St Albans as an International Tax Manager. To excel in this role, you'll need to be someone who has a love for process improvement and problem solving. This role requires a confident decision maker who recognises the wider implications of their decisions and their potential impact.

Working with a team of dedicated professionals, you'll be responsible for leading the international tax agenda, contributing to business projects, in particular assisting in providing advice on new international routes to markets, acquisitions, and integration of acquired business. As our next International Tax Manager, you'll be driving M&A support during due diligence, including providing advice on post-deal integration.

The Key Requirements...

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CTA) with International tax experience
  • Proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a pragmatic approach to problem
  • Broad Finance and systems knowledge of AP / AR / Financial Control / Reporting / Commercial Spend
  • Able to influence, persuade and communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Determine to see things through to completed

Desirable

  • FMCG Industry experience (selling to major UK multiple retailers)
  • Has had previous M&A exposure
  • Has had experience of setting up tax processes for new offices
