CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR – Night Shift

NIGHT SHIFT : 8pm-8am (initial training/induction will be day time)

You must be able to work between 8pm and 8am Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and be fluent in both written and spoken English, to be considered for this exciting opportunity!

Residential Management Group is a large, established, market leading property management company and is growing and its 24/7 Customer Service Centre has exciting opportunity for a permanent Night Shift Customer Centre Advisor, based in Northwich.

What will I be doing?

  • Working 8pm to 8am, you will be receiving calls from customers, some of which are likely to be emergency in nature – therefore, you'll need to be able to support with the situation professionally, calmly and confidently.
  • Ensure all contact with customers is accurately recorded on their computer-based record.
  • Process all documentation resulting from customer contacts, ensuring information is passed to colleagues to action.
  • When not taking customer calls, through the night you'll be responding to existing outstanding customer queries relating to their properties and accounts, via email - therefore we're looking for strong administrative skills too.

What skills and experience will I need?

  • Solid admin experience
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Able to carry out instructions quickly and accurately
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience of lone working and working under pressure

What hours will I be working?

During your fully comprehensive induction (approximately 4 weeks), you will be working 8 hour days. You will have a dedicated ‘buddy' to support you during your training, and when you're fully confident/competent, you'll move to your Out of Hours shifts and your buddy will join you initially, to support you in your new role.

When you have completed your training/induction, you will move to the Out of Hours 12 hour bi-weekly shifts, as indicated below:

Week 1 – Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 8pm to 8am

Week 2 – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 8pm to 8am

Week 3 – Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 8pm to 8am

Week 4 – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 8pm to 8am
