We have a new opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to provide support to a busy commercial property department of a very well-established, multi office, Legal 500-listed law firm, based on the outskirts of Coventry. Own transport is essential due to the office location. Free parking is available on site.
The role will suit a "career secretary" with a minimum of 12 months' experience in commercial property.
The role will involv e:
- Provision of secretarial and administrative support to a busy commercial property team
- File opening, closing and registrations
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents
- Using the land registry portal
- Diary management
- Liaising with clients in person, via email and via telephone
- Using a legal case management system
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements e.g., CML, CQS, SRA and anti-money laundering
Suitable candidates will have:
- Previous legal secretarial experience within commercial property
- Experience of using a legal case management system
- Experience of using the land registry portal
- An understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements including CML, CQS, SRA and anti-money laundering
- Sound working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. The role is fully office-based and is offered with a range of benefits including:
