Management Accountant
Plymouth, Devon
C £35,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE
Our client, a cornerstone of the Plymouth community, is seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join their team full-time.
This role is crucial to the team's success, with responsibilities that include reporting to and collaborating closely with the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the management of intercompany accounting processes
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Supporting all month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
- Handling accounting tasks related to Government Funding
- Overseeing transactional finance duties, such as credit card reconciliation and staff expenses
- Identifying financial challenges and recommending solutions to management
- Evaluating and enhancing financial information systems as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- AAT Level 4 minimum; ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified preferred. QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates are also welcome to apply.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software
