Financial Accountant | £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus | Liverpool
Resourcery Group are working with a well established business with excellent brand recognition across Merseyside & the North West. Based at their head office in Liverpool, this Financial Accountant role has been created to add further support to a Financial Controller building a best in class reporting function.
Working within a collaborative team, this role is ideally suited to someone that has trained at a Top10 firm, looking to move into industry.
Main duties will include;
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audits
- Maintain financial controls and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide support to other departments on financial matters and participate in cross-functional projects
- Reviewing and analysing financial data to ensure accuracy
- Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes
- Adhering to regulatory requirements and staying updated on accounting standards
Candidate profile;
- ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Audit trained ideally, industry trained with relevant experience absolutely considered
- Team player with the ability to work cross functionally
- Excellent attention to detail and capable of working in a fast paced environment
