A Management Accountant is required to manage financial information, analyse data and contribute to business strategy within the Accounting & Finance Department of a Business Services company located in Warrington.

Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Develop and maintain financial analysis tools to interpret business trends and project future revenues and expenses
- Provide financial advice to the management team to aid business decision making
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out effectively
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in using financial software and MS Excel
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work within a team and independently
