Casanovas Recruitment are working on behalf of a client offering an exciting opportunity with excellent benefits, for an experienced Financial to join their expanding team within their SaaS company. The role will be reporting to the CFO and will have day to day responsibility for a small finance team at present.
The company's multi-device solution is the technology their international clients utilise to manage and operate commercial assets.
The purpose of the role:
To provide financial strategy and direction to the company and finance team under the direction of the CFO, this will include managing all finance and accoutring operations, coordination and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
Key responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with executive team to establish more effective processes and controls to ensure integrity of company's ledger
- Oversee all financial control activities
- Tax preparations/liaising with external tax accountant for preparation
- Provide executive management and information to guide policies and strategising
- Summarising and analysing budget trends
- Providing documentation support to external auditors
- Ensuring full company compliance and requirements
Skill and experience requirements:
- Experience of scaling organisation in SaaS ideally
- A practical understanding of management accounting
- Solid experience od standard accountancy best practices
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong financial analytical skills
- Qualified to ACCA or CIMA with strong understanding of tax codes and laws
- Lived experience and positive outlook to change management
- In depth understanding and knowledge of budgeting nd forecasting
