Autograph Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a successful business who are currently experiencing significant growth. They take pride in ensuring their products offer high-quality to exceed industry standards and are now looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Operations Manager to add to their family feel team.

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and leading the production teams. Overseeing the overall performance of the site and working closely with the logistic and engineering teams to improve the overall site effectiveness and service. Putting a focus on personal development, production and cultural dynamics.

Reporting to the business Owners, the successful candidate is required to deliver great service through an efficient, safe, and timely department. Consistent and able to complete tasks thoroughly applying intelligence and broader understanding to the business. Good under pressure, punctual, and adaptable to uphold the company's admirable reputation.

Responsibilities of Operations Manager:

  • Ensuring all operations are carried out in line with legal requirements and Health and Safety procedures
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements
  • Coordinate and communicate with other sites, departments and customers to ensure the efficiency of the site and to resolve any issues across the department
  • Promoting company visions, values, procedures, and policies to maintain a positive, dynamic working environment
  • Generate and analyse reports and KPIs, noticing trends, and improvements to enhance performance
  • Analysing production performances, creating ongoing improvements for the depot
  • Work with the Business Owners regarding the agreed financial budget
  • Ensure cost-effectivity within the department
  • Manage employee development and team performance. Including absences, grievances, and training
  • Motivate and support the team, positive working environment and teamwork throughout the department
  • Contribute to the reduction of impact on the environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in team management, including performance management, recruitment, inductions and absence management
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
  • Experience with working in a food environment
  • Attention to detail, analysing data and information to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team/department
  • Financial knowledge, including budgeting
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards and regulations
  • Lead and influence positivity into the team
