Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Colchester
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods.
- Transport materials within the warehouse or factory as required.
- Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock management and order picking.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (required).
- Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Physically fit, with the ability to handle manual tasks and lift items as needed.
