Interim Operations Manager
Location: Lydney
Position: Full time, Temporary 4-8 months
Salary: Up to £50,000 + benefits

This opportunity is to cover a predicted 4 to 8 month period, during busy production times.
Responsibilities of Operations Manager:
- Responsible for daily operations management, as well as a team of circa. 30
- Ensuring all operations are carried out in line with legal requirements, compliance and Health and Safety procedures
- Maintaining continuous improvement, looking to reduce waste and reduce business costs
- Manage capacity of the department, ensuring timely productions, and high quality standards
- Promoting company visions, values, procedures, and policies to maintain a positive, dynamic working environment
- Work with the Managing Director regarding the agreed financial budget
- Analysing production performances, creating ongoing improvements for the depot
- Generate and analyse reports and KPIs, noticing trends, and improvements to enhance performance
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5 + years of Production experience within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with managing large teams, including performance management, recruitment, inductions and absence management
- IOSH or equivalent qualification would be an advantage
- Great personal attributes to be able to lead and influence positivity and productivity throughout the team
- Great IT skills, including familiarity of all Microsoft platforms
