Assembly Technician
£33,000 per annum + bonus

A widely respected company which was established over 30 years ago, who are one of the leading suppliers of salt spray cabinets and cyclic corrosion cabinets in the world are looking for a Assembly Technician to join their team.
The job:
To undertake the assembly and manufacture of the parts & assemblies to the point where they are complete machines and ready for test.
Tasks to be undertaken:
- Control Panel Assembly and Wiring.
- Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and finished machine
- Plastic Parts manufacture
- Finishing and Packaging of finished machines
- Wiring of chamber
- Testing of chamber using instructions provided.
- Self inspection of finished items using laid down methodology
Other duties:
- Improve assembly methods and practices to reduce costs and minimise waste.
- Ensure quality work produced to minimise non-conformities.
- Ensure provided Work Instructions and methods are adhered to the letter.
- Ensure tidiness, cleanliness and standards of ‘housekeeping' in own work area and throughout the workshop.
- Training of other employees as required.
- Picking and packing of Spares Orders.
- Any supportive task for production that the employee is capable of
Requirements:
- Competence in undertaking general electro mechanical assembly or finishing operations.
- Experience wiring and assembling control panels
- Experience assembling machinery which includes mechanical, electrical and pneumatics
