Operations Coordinator required for our client, an established renewable energy company who boast over 14 years in the Renewable Energy Industry. Offering renewable/low carbon energy schemes including Wind Turbines, Solar PV, Battery Storage Systems (BESS) and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) to their customers and clients.

They are now looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team, based in a commutable distance to Bridgend.

Operations Coordinator Position Remuneration

  • £25,000 - £30,000
  • 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Auto enrolment pension scheme
  • Onsite parking
  • 0900 - 1700
  • Benenden Health Cover (applies after 6 months)

Operations Coordinator Position Overview

You will have a passion for renewable energy and coordinate the monitoring, metering, reporting and maintenance of the operational portfolio to maintain the smooth and efficient operation of all the assets.

  • Having oversight of all the company's operational assets through daily monitoring via online portals
  • Taking responsibility for the annual renewal of Power Purchase Agreements, Power Supply Agreements, asset insurance and other asset-based contracts
  • Reporting performance analysis monthly to the board of directors
  • Co-ordinating with the finance team to ensure all energy production is invoiced correctly
  • Producing production and import/export data monthly summary
  • Maintaining production and availability spreadsheets from asset data
  • Producing monthly production spreadsheets
  • Checking monthly generation settlement invoices against production data
  • Liaising with maintenance teams to ensure faults and breakdowns are promptly resolved

Operations Coordinator Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role
  • An individual who is friendly, self-motivated and logical with strong organisational skills
  • An organised administrator who can take responsibility and can work with minimal supervision, proactively responding to issues
  • Good team working and communication skills are essential
  • Basic knowledge of renewable energy systems (beneficial)
  • Excellent computing abilities (Excel/Word/Outlook) and understanding
  • A background in electrical or mechanical engineering (beneficial)
