Support Practitioner (Req: Driver)
Have you ever worked as a Learning Disability Support Worker before? If yes, are you looking for opportunities to develop new skills and advance your career in a different environment?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to clients with learning disabilities in various settings, including their homes, community, and residential facilities.
- Encourage and support clients in developing independent living skills, social skills, and participation in community activities.
- Monitor and document clients progress, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Administer medication and manage healthcare appointments as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or in a similar support role.
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities and the challenges faced by individuals with such conditions.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license
