About the Role:
You will be responsible for teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to a diverse group of learners. This role offers flexibility with 3 to 5 days per week on an hourly paid basis. We are open to applications from experienced lecturers as well as those new to teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons at both GCSE and Functional Skills levels.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons, tailoring materials to meet the needs of different learners.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department to ensure students receive the best possible educational experience.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- A passion for education and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
