Design Engineer

Fantastic opportunity to joi our client, a pioneering manufacturing company who design, make, install and maintain sustainable ventilation, cooling, heating and lighting solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing ventilation strategies using our client's cutting-edge products, creating detailed quotations, assisting with sales tracking, and utilising thermodynamic modelling to ensure optimal air quality in various building environments.

This role could suit a recent graduate or someone with previous experience.

Salary is £25k - £33k plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ventilation Strategy Development: Utilise written calculations and technical guidance to design effective ventilation solutions tailored to a diverse range of buildings and rooms, ensuring the integration of Monodraught products meets client and regulatory requirements.
  • Quotation Creation: Accurately generate quotations for our systems, including all necessary ancillaries to integrate our systems with the client's building infrastructure.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the Sales Department to track quoted projects and assist in securing orders, contributing to the company's growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to colleagues and customers about our products, and general ventilation guidance and standards.
  • Thermodynamic Modelling : Employ advanced thermodynamic modelling techniques to predict and improve air quality within buildings. Create comprehensive modelling reports to provide customers with clear insights and recommendations.
