Role: 1st Line Technician
Location: Manchester (M60 area)
Salary: up to £45,000 DOE
Our client are looking for an enthusiastic entry level IT Support Technician to be fully based on their clients site in Manchester providing IT Support to a large corporation on their Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP solutions. This role would be suitable to candidates of a customer service background (not essential) who are looking for their first role in IT.
Please note - you may need a high level of security clearance to be accepted for this role.
Upon starting, you will be given full training on Oracle Cloud, this will cover various area's of the HCM and ERP Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide entry level IT Support
- Fully on-site role, being the first point of contact
- Become a Oracle Functional Professional
- Diagnose hardware and software issues
- Work within SLA's
- Provide a high level of support
- Manage and resolve tickets efficiently
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
- Provide or update documentation to help with processes
- Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
Technical and personal requirements:
- Office 365 Administration
- Antivirus / Security platforms
- Passionate about IT & Technology
- Motivated self-starter
- Attention to detail, customer focused
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Qualified to apprenticeship / A-Level or equivalent in any subject area
