We are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support primary schools across Doncaster and Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about contributing to the educational journey of young learners and are looking for flexible work arrangements.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring continuity of education for pupils.
- Assisting teachers in planning, preparing and delivering engaging educational activities.
- Providing targeted support to individual students or small groups to help them achieve their learning objectives.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Assessing and recording students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
- Contributing to the development of learning materials and resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working within a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different educational settings.
- A commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to learning.
