Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-established merchant who, due to their continued success, are expanding and looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join their friendly and welcoming team based in Berkshire.
The Role
Supervising the branch's team members and improving the branch's customer experience and sales performance. The Assistant Branch Manager will be working alongside the Branch Manager to help maximize the sales and profitability of the branch, as well as efficiently managing the daily operations of the branch.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting customers on the trade counter and telephone, as well as helping when needed to load
- Working alongside the Branch Manager on all aspects of development of the branch and customer service
- Keeping on top of stock levels, making sure that they are adequate and replenished when needed
- Any other appropriate duties that are required by the Branch Manager
- Supervision of the branch's team
- Supporting the Branch Manager with the execution of the Branch's Sales plan
- Ensuring the safe and efficient management of daily operations
- Ensuring all branch activity is customer-focused and that they have the best possible experience
- Covering the Branch Manager when required
Salary - Circa £30,000 per annum
The Hours
Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:00-17:15
Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:00-17:15, Saturday 08:00-12:00
