Production Manager Commutable from: Sheffield, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Derby and Loughborough

Salary: Up to £75,000 Per Annum

The Company:
A well-established precision engineering group and global manufacturer operating in a variety of markets are recruiting for a permanent Production Manager to oversee their 80+ workforce at a single site location.
Production Manager Position:
Due to continued growth into new sectors and expansion of their largest contracts, the company is looking for a driven production manager to facilitate and add to the continued growth and success of the business.
Production Manager Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the disciplined execution of Daily Management.
- Contributing to the site strategy process and ensuring its execution.
- Hold functional support staff accountable for adhering to business standards and enabling their team to meet their targets.
- Leading and developing their team to understand the context, mechanics, and delivery of targets to meet customer and stakeholder commitments.
- Display activist leadership in Problem Solving approach, with the ambition that issues can be solved.
The Candidate:
- Experience ideally in Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Oil & Gas or Subcontract machining.
- Experience of working with High Value components or exotic materials including but not limited to Titanium, Inconel, and Hardened Steel.
- Qualifications in an Engineering or Science based discipline.
- Experience of working within a Lean Operating Model / Production System.
- Supply chain experience.
Licence/Certification Required:
- Driving Licence
- Mechanical Apprentice trained or qualified by an evidence-based track record
