My client is a leading provider of comprehensive water treatment services, committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance. Their dedicated team of professionals delivers top-tier solutions to prevent waterborne diseases and maintain safe water systems for a diverse range of clients. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Legionella Risk Assessment Supervisor to join their Glasgow office.

As a Legionella Risk Assessment Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding a team of 8 skilled risk assessors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely completion of legionella risk assessments, in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the health and safety of the client's water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of 8 legionella risk assessors, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to company protocols.
  • Conduct detailed legionella risk assessments for various water systems, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate control measures.
  • Review and validate risk assessment reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing professional development for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their specific needs, address concerns, and provide expert advice on legionella risk management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve assessment processes and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Legionella Risk Assessing, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines, along with City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members.
